Get Your Glow On!
The skin is our largest organ. Our skin withstands tremendous exposure to elemental factors including the sun, wind, extreme temperatures, and effects of external and internal nutrient and moisture deficiencies. As we age, we begin to notice sagging and wrinkling. This is due to the collagen and elastin fibres in our skin weakening and becoming less abundant. One way to correct as well as protect the skin from the impact of these elemental factors are chemical peels. Peels safely but aggressively exfoliate the epidermis (skin). Peels along with medical grade skincare products challenge the production of collagen and elastin within the skin. Compliancy and daily use of these clinically advanced skincare products will ameliorate and prevent most skin conditions. Prevention is essential when combating the aging process. A simple skincare regimen that includes a medical grade cleanser, toner, hydrating moisturizer and most importantly daily application of an spf 30 containing either micronized titanium dioxide or zinc oxide which provides a superior physical barrier against uv rays. Chemical peels successfully address some stubborn, problematic, and complicated skin conditions such as fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation (age spots/pregnancy mask), rosacea, enlarged pores, sensitivity and dryness. The accumulation of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin contributes to a dull appearance, uneven texture, bacteria formation, and most acne conditions. Chemical peels, which can consist of high potency cosmeceutical ingredients such as glycolic, lactic, salicylic, retonoic, trichloroacetic, phenol, resorcinol, and l-ascorbic acids will accelerate your results as well as compliment your daily skincare treatment protocol. The goal is to normalize skin function to restore and maintain a more youthful appearance. Chemical peels allow for a more luminous, refined texture and enhanced clarity of the skin. With only a few treatments this procedure can activate cell renewal, collagen production, and prepare the skin to absorb active ingredients and antioxidants from your home care system-vital in the nourishment and healing of the skin. Skincare products and treatments work most effectively in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle which includes proper sleep, nutrition, the intake of sufficient water, exercise, stress management, and avoidance or limitation of smoking and alcohol.
